eh, he's 5' 11' and 184 lbs with an average arm. I doubt he makes the practice squad. He is a southpaw like me, so I'll root for him.

I was thinking the same thing. He's Russell Wilson without the bulk. He might get beat up pretty bad in the NFL at less than 200lbs.

Focusing just on the throws, that could be the highlight video of any college QB in the country. Nothing that remarkable. I noticed that after taking the snap he freezes, flat footed, for a moment. If your game is elusiveness, you need to be mobile from the first moment.

Yea, highlight reels aren't a good measure of any player, especially when it's against lesser competition.

I posted it because of Schneiders comments, stating they were "pretty excited" about signing him.

Ah, IC. I had the audio muted.

It wouldn't have made any difference anyway. I'm not too impressed with a GM being pretty excited about a player he just signed. It would be news if he wasn't excited.

I thought he looks pretty good . Not a bad arm . He’s more inclined to run than Russ but there are similarities . He’s more willing than Russ to run inside the hash marks but there are no coastal Carolina defenses in the NFL so he would get killed imo unless he modifies it
Other than the Read Russ ran to pass and was very careful with his body when he did run which is why he was so durable for so long . This guy runs to run .my guess it’s one of the 3 big dudes behind center this year . Practice squad .

Undersized QB from a small school. Granted, that team performed very well going 13-1 with a 42-14 beat down of a Malik Willis led Liberty. Lewis looked much better than Willis by a mile, but Lewis was a little above average while Willis’s was flat out awful. Happy for the guy; hope he gets a s*** to show what he can do, but we all know to keep our expectations real.
