I presume you've seen the vid of McVay and Snead laughing at Belichick picking Cole Strange at 29. Don't know how Cole will do, and McVay called and apologized, but was pretty classless. Hope the Pats stuff them at every opportunity.

I saw that too.
I’m not sure it was laughing at the pick as much as them being surprised by it.
Strange did test well and had some good tape so he might have been undervalued
by the Rams in thinking he would last until their pick.

I thought it was a bit out of character for McVay. I wouldn't snicker at anything BB does, McVay shouldn't either, maybe he forgot BB shut down his high-powered offense in the SB a few years back.
I liked Strange a lot in this draft, although 29 may have been a bit rich for him.

No, there was too much sarcasm to be just surprise. I noted that the guy beside McVay made a sarcastic remark about the small school that Strange played at. It was classless.

I note that Strange transferred briefly to the AF Academy before going back to Chattanooga. If he was accepted by the AF Academy he's no dummy and that fits in well with BB's own service academy background.
