In a surprising offseason move, former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos for a pretty heavy haul, and now he’s listed his lavish Washington estate for a whopping $36 million.

That’s $29.3 million more than what he purchased the home for in 2015, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported.

Does anyone want to question me as to why it is that I don't worship professional athletes?

That's a bit bombastic don't you think? As though anyone (of us here at least) actually "worships" athletes.

I wasn't directing it at anyone in particular, including present company. It was a statement about my own personal beliefs, nothing more.

He was lucky when he bought (or built) that place just before prices took off and he may be selling at just the right time, too.

I don’t think it matters . Dude has made a quarter of a billion give or take playing a kids game endorsements etc. as for RDs comments about worshiping athletes I back those who help my team 100% fervently . I get excited , giddy about great plays made by great players which we have had many or great performances by forgotten players , oft injured players .

By the same token when they no longer want to be around or are not earning their keep or both I am as ruthless and bipolar as a fan as there is .GTFO. Right now I wish the house had been on the market a year ago . What a wasted year for the entire franchise .

Our Front Office has wasted the last 7 years with their mismanagement of talent.
The same attitude should be applied to them.

Whoa! Is that place tacky or what?

And I wouldn't buy a house with black pool table felt. Have they no sense of decency?

I'm not like that. My personal attitude about Russell hasn't changed since the trade, and if he walked into my home today, I would shake hands with him, thank him for his contributions to our football team, and wish him luck after the 2022 season. However, I won't be rooting for him or buy tickets to his HOF induction ceremony. He's an overpaid professional athlete, on about the same level as a telemarketer or used car salesman in my book.
