burrrton wrote:"Profiting off the sick and dying" is a pediatric surgeon operating on your sick child, and as I said, they don't do that for cost. You're decrying profit just as directly there as in any other situation.
Only in your mind, a mind that apparently can't see the difference between profiting off selling a TV and marking up life-saving surgery.
This ham-fisted attempt at hair splitting would have lost you the debate before it even got rolling.
Bye, asea.
I think you're personal insults and sarcastic, insulting demeanor would have cost your far more points in any debate you happen to have participated in. Like I said, I would be surprised if you won many debates being unable to see something as simple as the difference I pointed out above. I do not think any intelligent debate judge would make the same conclusion that a person claiming profiting off life-saving surgery was ethically questionable was in any way the same as profiting off a TV or a car. Only a mentally shallow individual would make such a feeble assertion.
Let me make an equally feeble assertion about you to show the absurdity: I guess burrton considers profit more important than the life of a child. How is that? That how you feel?
