OK, tomarra is the trade deadline.

Please put your bet down on one of these guys, some other player, or if you are passing on this game, say so:

Vincent Jackson, WR

Devin Hester, WR/ Returner

Pierre Garcon, WR

Jared Cook, TE

Jermaine Gresham, TE

Chris Clemmons, DE

Some other guy at any position (give them a name when you put your money down)

Absolutely No Deal Will Go Down, even if they want to

Absolutely No Deal Will Go down, because they don't want to take a chance on a further image shattering error

PICK ONE OF THE ABOVE!

I was picking V. Jackson last week, but I'm switching to Hester as of today.

I'll take Clemons (although wouldn't mind V Jackson).

I'll pass on most receivers, as they simply can't provide what is needed quickly enough mid season to be a move worth sacrificing a high draft pick for. Clemmons while still a productive player and would help with depth issues, isn't a move I would endorse unless he can be had cheap, now Clinton McDonald I WOULD whole heartedly vendors a move to bring back as he helped apply the NECESSARY pressure from the interior that has been sorely lacking until this past game. Irvin can and did apply pressure consistently this past game, and Avril and Bennett actually showed up, the pressure from the outside has been there, the pocket however has not been pushed ( and to be honest, McDonald doesn't have to be the guy IMHO, ANY interior pass rush presence will do).

Would also endorse a Hester move, as long as it was DIRT cheap, we're talking like 6th or lower pick. He adds nothing to this team as a receiver, and is really a PR and nothing more on his last legs.

The Seahawks will work the phones big time, because that's what they do, and I have no doubt they've talked to the Bucs about Jackson, they were interested in him when he was a free agent.
When they shopped around Percy, they were looking to get back a big receiving tight end, so Gresham is possible, but not the guy they really want.

In the end, unless they get a pretty sweet deal, nothing will happen.
My bet is on nothing.

I doubt they make any changes, either but the real question is what would they have to give up?
Nobody from the Defense is expendable and the Offense doesn't have much to give up either, so it would have to be picks.
We will get some compensatory picks this year which would take out some of the sting from using picks - and they can't be traded. I suspect we should get a few mid round picks for losing Tate, Browner, McDonald, and Giacomini.
