I laughed my butt off, but since I readily admit that what I find hilarious others may not, humor is subjective after all, I changed the title of this thread a bit to reflect that.

Pete Prisco got roasted in his power rankings column this week. I'll be the first to admit that if I weren't a Seahawk fan I'd find us extremely annoying too (although when you dismiss an entire team, fanbase and city as destined to be eternal also rans for decades, you kind of reap what you sow) and believe me most other fanbases do really dislike us. So you know it's bad when the Bronco's were put at #1 half the comments were along the lines were "I don't even like the Seahawks or their annoying fans but Pete Prisco is a moron".

Besides look at his picture... he just looks like a douche.

Yup- big part of why I've traditionally cut poor Future a wide berth (and to be honest, I find half of what I read annoying, and there is no bigger fan of the team).

Oh man- going back and reading that linked Chadiha article from 2010 is *brutal* (for Chadiha). I felt too sorry for the guy to even finish it. Felt like kicking a handicapped kid or something, I guess.

And by the way, I'm probably the last guy to have figured this out, but if you haven't bookmarked it already, bookmark fieldgulls.

Nah you aren't the last guy. I still haven't figured it out. When someone posts a link they think is especially worthy of attention I'll usually check it out but I have kind of made a point to not read Field Gulls regularly.

It makes me feel like I'm a Democrat going to watch MSNBC (or a Republican going to watch Fox news). I know it's heavily biased and it automatically makes me distrust it as a source of information.

For sure, but (and, as I said, I say this as someone not entirely familiar with the site) they seem to scour the internet for Seahawk-related stories and link them. I found a few stories I hadn't read and viewed that as a strength of theirs more than the fanboy articles (which I think we agree work best in small doses).

I was depending on this site for most of the article linking, but it appears you guys have let me down and should be ashamed.
