We also lost Hauptmann to the Browns.
I'm wondering if Toomer will also go somewhere or if we can get to keep him on our PS?

So Far no one has claimed Terrell Pryor or Michael Sam.

I was dissapointed that Small and Toomer were claimed, though congrats to those guys, they both could end up being starters for the teams that took them.... I was hoping both would make it to the PS.

Quick question about the PS.
Are these players that are being picked up by other teams getting spots on those teams 53 or are they PS for those teams? If they are getting signed to practice squads shouldnt the hawks have first right of signing their own guys to their practce squads?

Any team can sign any available player to their PS, they can ( and do actually) offer bigger paydays if there is a player they are really interested in keeping ( the Hawks did so last year to keep a PS guy from going to SF 53 man roster for instance) ultimately, those players get to "choose" what offer they want ( whether it be the PS for multiple teams or a spot on some teams 53 man roster, which I am guessing a least Toomer was given with the injury addled Cowboys), essentially once they clear waivers, they become free agents... and can be "claimed" off anyones PS at any time if placed on a 53 man roster ( of course that is still their choice, they don't have to go if they don't want)...
