The Seahawks signed Khalil Herbert, RB. I wonder if that is an indication that Charbonnet is hurt worse than we know, or if maybe they think Herbert is a good fit for this Offense?
Teams, especially run first teams can't have enough good RBs so maybe it's just a depth thing.

We're a run first team but we're tied with the Giants for 21st in the league in rushing yards, 28th in yards per attempt.

For as much fanfare that has been given to the running game, its production is pretty disappointing.

Sort of. It is early and they are learning a new blocking scheme. I like the direction of this OL, albeit they need to start opening bigger lanes. Without looking into it much, it seems running the ball has been a league-wide slow start.

Yes it is early, but there isn't much more than a modicum of talent on the IOL outside of Zabel's potential. They are going to have to take a big step forward for me to think it's improved enough to have a solid run based Offense.
