Rams

Remember that decade of dominance over the Rams? Seems like a long time ago. Let's face it, they have our number - not as much as the 49ers, but still. McVay always has us solved - I'd still trade the Space Needle to have him as our HC, but oh well. I respect the heck out of that dude.
Rams have won the last 2 against us; 5 of the last 7; and 10 of the last 14, including our last playoff game after the 2020 season.
How are we feeling? I think the Rams getting Nacua and Kupp back last week bodes really, really bad for us. They also have a tough runner in Kyren Williams. I'd like to think Macdonald has an idea on how to fix things, but he is kind of a broken record now and saying all the right things but it doesn't seem like our talent is aligned with his vision.
I guess the good news it, we can hardly play worse than we did last week. That being said, Rams are getting healthy and getting it rolling. Their O Line is pretty good, but Stafford has been sacked 17 times this season so you can get to him.
This is going to be a game where the offense needs to stop pissing down it's leg. It would also be nice for Witherspoon to finally show up this season; I think they need to move him back to full time at one of the corner spots.

This game worries the hell out of me. I suppose they all do at this point.
I'm glad there's no more Aaron Donald, but their offense and coaching, for the reasons you stated, will be hard to hold down especially if Seattle makes the same kinds of miscues they made last week.

Metcalf hasn't practiced this week, but Macdonald is "optimistic" that he's going to play. Witherspoon, Shenault, and Leonard Williams didn't practice, although Williams was apparently just given the day off. Both Lucas and Fant have been listed as limited practice this week, so maybe we'll get some depth back after our bye week.
The Rams have won their last two in a row while we've lost 4 of our last 5. IMO our woes continue, but at least we won't have to worry about losing next week.
Rams 35, Hawks 31.

I expect the Rams to win. Our best WR is likely not going. Spoon is hurt with a foot issue. We've been incredibly inconsistent. McVay is about as good as they come at picking apart opposing defenses that aren't created by Bill Belichick. I don't see a positive unless we get to Stafford early and often.

According to PFT, Puka Nacua left practice today with a knee injury.
Not much else is known yet.

Maybe McVeigh won't have Macdonald's number like he had Pete's, but until I see otherwise I think history means the Rams will always be favored.

Staffor, Williams, Nacua, and Kupp will be enough for them to win if the Seahawks continue to have their miscues on offense and defense. There's plenty of talent for them to win this game, but, as always, it will come down to execution.

Nacua will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game. He was a huge factor in the Rams' win over the Vikings last week.

I'd rather beat them at their best, but we'll be down Metcalf, so those are the breaks. Need this win no matter the condition of the opponent.

I couldn't care less about beating them at their best, it's not like we're at our best ... I just wanna beat 'em.

I get what Mack's saying, that if given my druthers, I'd rather beat a team at their peak than when they're down. There are fewer excuses that way. I also don't like seeing players injured no matter who they are or what kind of advantage it may give my team.
But yeah, a win's a win. Like Al Davis used to say: Just win, baby.

We will be without DK and Noah Fant, but even more worrying is their DL which is really coming on of late. With our OL being a mess it might be a real hard game to win. Maybe our DL can match theirs and be a big negative influence on their Offense, but I doubt McVay won’t have a plan to avoid disaster.

Nacua is expected to play today so their Offense could be real dangerous.

if the same team that shows up that played last week, it ain't going to be pretty, esp. now with Metcalf out.

JSN usually uses his hands to catch the ball. I guess it was in the wrong spot for him at that moment.

Our defense is playing well and getting necessary stops. The offense needs to take these opportunities to capitalize.

Yes, rookie HC mistake. With the amount of time the refs spent discussing whether it was a catch or not, he should have gotten an update from his staff that it's not worth challenging.

Yeah, and subsequent play with Zach, who looked lost, and ran out on the field late. I question if our team meetings are taking things serious, because this looks like sh!tshow.

Just little over 3 mins left to go in the half, we are extremely lucky to be only down by 3 points. I almost want to bench Connor at this point. He wiffed on an earlier sack, and I have no clue what is up with snaps.

It seems to me that this team is emotionally fragile and by that I mean when things are going good everyone is happy but when things go bad, the attitude and enthusiasm drops severely. I think it’s because of the lack of leadership on the team. There’s nobody who gets the players up or at least keep them on an even keel.
Let’s see what happens in the 2nd half.
