saw a story in sports section today said Cupp may have aggravated his injury from last season. Too early to tell if he will be playing or not.

I hate to benefit from another player's misfortune, but Cooper Kupp (note correct spelling) is the type of receiver that could give our young secondary fits.

He injured his hamstring in a non contact drill at the beginning of August. Usually this type of injury would heal by now, but given this is the same injury he dealt with last year this indicates that this is more serious than your usual hamstring injury. Being that he is leaving the west coast to have a specialist in MN to look at it tells me he may actually might miss the entire season. Its not normal to have a hamstring injury linger this long, and may have healed incorrectly.

Sort of reminds me of Kawhi Leonard when he was the Spurs, and had a quad injury and it he didn't have it rehab and heal correctly, which inherently cost him an entire season and revaluation and of course to move on.

Kupp is out Sunday. Got to feel like this may end up being a lingering problem for him. Such a great local dude, even though he plays for the enemy.

Edit. Seattle better not play down to this very weakened team. A blow out would be a statement.

Yeah, I'm picking us to win in our survival league.

10-4 on Kupp. He's from my alma mater. Not too many Eastern Washington dudes in the NFL, so I gotta root for him.

I'm not sure if you've ever seen this clip, but Kupp even had football experts heads swimming when he gave this answer to a TD pass he caught:

I did see that one. Hilarious and also impressive how much of a gamer Cooper is.

Yeah, I could just imagine what was going through the head of the interviewer.

But he's had a problem staying on the field.

PFT has a report that Kupp is concerned that he might have some nerve damage in his leg.

I just saw that too, well that is a bummer albeit he is on a rival team, but no one wants to see someone battle a serious injury like this. I hope he gets better soon, and we can see him play again and get the best of the rams, and beat them while they are at their best.

That's my philosophy, too. Prior to SB 49 and with the Deflategate scandal in progress, there were some Seahawk fans hoping that Tom Brady would be suspended for the Super Bowl. But not me. Had Brady been suspended, and we had won, there would have been an endless stream of comments and opinions essentially qualifying our win as not completely legitimate, and it wouldn't have surprised me had they put a Roger Maris-style asterisk by the result.

So, hit me with your best shot! No excuses if you lose.

I’m more concerned about one of the best route running receivers having a shortened career.
Even though he plays for a competitor, he’s amazing to watch play.

Yeah, and Kupp is from just up the road in Yakima and played at my alma mater Eastern Washington University. He had arguably the best year a receiver has ever had in the history of the game, winning receiving's triple crown (receptions, yards, TD's) and the Super Bowl MVP. He's living proof that you don't have to be an Olympic class athlete to succeed at the position. Kupp's 40 time was 4.62, a virtual sloth for a wide receiver. He reminds me a lot of Steve Largent, one of my all-time favorite Seahawks.

I haven't seen anything that says hes out for the season, but McVay has suggested he could go onto IR, but it's just a possibility as of yesterday.
