I am looking forward to this, how could I not I ask? Even though its just a preseason game, I am thinking our starters will get more time, and the fact we never or rarely(?) have ever beaten the Puckers in Green Bay. At least it won't be -20 below! LOL.

Meh. It's just a preseason game, and we won't be seeing much if anything from our starters. Same with the Puckers. I'm keeping my powder dry for the opener against the Lambs.

I like watching the preseason games because I get to see players that are new or on the bubble. As well, it gives us an idea of the depth on the team and at which positions.

The Hawks play at an unusually early time for a preseason game, 10:00am PT. Local Fox stations will televise it live.

In addition, the college football season gets into full gear. Here's the slate of games for today:

Here's the full schedule for this Saturday

Navy vs. No. 13 Notre Dame at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC
UTEP vs. Jacksonville State at 5:30 p.m. ET on CBS Sports
Ohio vs. San Diego State at 7 p.m. ET on FS1
UMass vs. New Mexico State at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN
Hawaii vs. Vanderbilt at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network
San Jose State vs. No. 6 USC at 8 p.m. ET on Pac-12 Network
Florida International vs. Louisiana Tech at 9 p.m. ET on CBS Sports

Not many marquee games, but it means that football season is here!

was another disappointing loss. Finally got the lead and couldn't hold it. Need to clean up the stupid holding calls esp. when on offense. This is something the Hawks do well. Get holding calls when we got the ball. Doh!

"Another" disappointing loss? It was the first loss of the preseason.

I watched just bits and pieces, saw Mike Jackson get burned then lucked out when Love threw the ball over the wrong shoulder. Jackson used to be one of our better corners, or at least that's how I viewed him last season.

Now it's on to the Rams and games that actually matter.

It's preseason. Can't be too disappointing unless everybody played poorly or we had a bunch of injuries, the final score is irrelevant.

Yeah, cheer up, Spohawk. Jordan Love, the Pucker's starting quarterback, played the entire first half. Geno didn't see a single snap. That's just one of the reasons why the final score is irrelevant.

Bobo had another good game, made another nice catch on a TD pass. I can't see him NOT making the cut. The guy looks like our sleeper this season, wasn't even drafted.
