And so the first domino falls . Reports say 4 years 150 million with a total of 100 million guaranteed . For 24 TDs , 14 picks in 15 games , no playoff wins in his career .
Wow …..don’t know what this might mean for Geno etc. I heard Daniel Jones expects 45 per after 1 good year . Then there’s weird beard who for all the world I can’t understand a team giving up a fortune for the flake .
I dunno maybe we sign Lock before he starts getting pricey and plan on a qb in the draft

If Carr is commanding 4 @ 37.5 = 150, I can't imagine Geno being had for less. I would say sorry, Geno; can't do that here, but go get yours.

Your wrong HT, Carr has been the only stable force in a franchise that is a dumpster fire. He has better 4th quarter stats than anyone, and he has a great demeaner. He will be the instant favorite in the NFC South, he his the 2nd best QB in the NFC, makes sense. I thought he would go Jets.

Carr's salary is not based on a single year. Carr is a 9 year vet who has consistently put up starting QB stats. He's never thrown for less than 3,200 yards. He's thrown for an average of 24 TDs a year for 9 years. Geno and Carr are not comparable. Geno has one great year. Carr has a 9 year resume of starting QB performance.

Tell that to Geno's agent and the QB needy teams in the league. Perhaps Geno won't get the years, but his per year won't be far off what Carr received. By that I mean, he'll get $30+ million per year.

Seahawks have to tag Geno today according to my buddy or he hits free agency and the competition for his services will begin.

Without some additional moves to clear cap space, I don't think they do. At least that what articles on Field Gulls state. Also possible the Seahawks are content with Geno seeing what he can get. I don't think the tag happens.
