Mighty Mouse not popular with some teammates

According to a CBS Sports article I saw on my tablet today, at least one of Murray's teammates states Murray does not put in the work necessary to be a top flight NFL QB and with his recent big salary package agreement he is way overpaid. Do I hear similar tones of the locker room descent that was present during the Wilson years in Seattle? Of course, the teammate in question wished to remain anonymous.

Yeah, I've heard a few rumors filtering out, too. The other day, they showed a clip of him on the sidelines during a game getting into a big argument with Kingsbury. It's never a good look to get that upset at the head coach in the middle of a game. But, apparently Sean Payton is a big fan of his, so we'll see.

I wasn’t happy with how Russ became in his later years here but he accomplished more by accident in the league then Murray ever will on purpose . Russ got Murray drafted #1. Watching him a few years I was stunned they paid the man . It is AZ after all I guess

Agreed. Russell broke the midget barrier. No way would Murray have gotten the same opportunity had it not been for Russell.

I, too, was surprised that they resigned Murray to the deal they did, but that seems par for the course nowadays. The Raiders did the same thing with Carr, and of course, the Broncos with Russell.

There was a reason that infamous clause in his contract was added. I don't know of any other starting QB that had it and it speaks to the same issue or concern of mgmt that the anonymous player has.
He's got by on talent alone, but what separates the best from the good is the extra work, including studies during the week.

What? Carr is 6'3".

It’s not really that surprising.
Both the GM Keim and HC Kingsbury hitched their wagon to Murray when they drafted him.
They built around him and focused the Offense around his skills. Besides they gave up on their previous
1st round QB pick in favor of Murray. If they didn’t re-sign him they would be admitting they screwed up
twice with high first round picks at QB.

I wasn't comparing the two player's height; I'm referring to their contracts. The Raiders resigned Carr to a huge extension in almost the same manner the Cards did with Murray, and with similar results.

Carrs deal was signed directly after making the postseason with a train wreck of a roster , Ruggs, Gruden's firing. Looks like it was really a 1 year deal anyway .This year he was bad but not as bad as Murray. Much more solid as a teammate, longer body of work. If anyone has a future anywhere out of those 2 guys its Carr . Probably neither.

Seems to me that Carr didn't fit the system McDaniels implemented.
