Don't complain. It's an advantage to play on a Saturday as it gives the winner an extra day to rest before the next round.

We were a dropped pick and fumbled ball from being all over the 9ers last time . And we had no defense or run game entering the contest .

The way this league is it’s hard to guess what’s a good game or not . When are those riveting 8-9 Tompon bay sucks playing ? Too bad they can’t play in Munich . What a joke .

All good for me. Weekend football on analog tv, and I don’t have to risk giving my laptop the digital equivalent of Covid to watch an illegal stream.

And you’re right, Hawktawk; the Niners didn’t exactly destroy us last game and they still have a rookie qb. Clean up turnovers and limit the run game, and, just maybe, that’ll force Purdy to have to throw more and hopefully make some mistakes. It can be won, but it won’t be easy.

Slightly off topic, but it's a bit of a weird kickoff time for the CFB National Championship game tonight. 4:30pm PT?

Isn't it normally 5pm?
I would suspect it's for the benefit of the East Coast audience in case it goes late.
But chances are it will be over by half time. Maybe we'll get another good game this year, though. We've had some good ones so far this year.

It's usually after 5pm, like 5:15 or 5:20, and not just football, all nationally televised sporting events that fall on a weekday, at least all that I'm aware of. The only exception is if they have a doubleheader, like they occasionally do on MNF.

Is Deebo playing? That may matter, probably not. I still am terrified of this team. Haven't really watched them since Purdy took over, but he seems to keep winning.

I'm pretty sure he is. Don't know if he's 100% or not but he did play yesterday.

They’re loaded with talent so it will be a tough game to win, but. stranger things have happened.

Since taking over as starter 5 games ago Brock Purdy is #1 in every statistical category . TDs , yards per attempt , pass to TD ratio , everything. Tied in wins. He has the 9ers rookie TD record in 5 starts .

He’s for real . Like anyone if you hit and harass him he’s not as good . But he’s another reason to question putting all the eggs in the franchise basket burning top picks . I would not be surprised if the dude was there long after Jimmy G and Lance are long gone .
It’s no mirage . He’s a good player .
