Temps of 14 degrees max and 15-20 mph winds in KC . These conditions might blunt the KC advantage . It might make Seattle fold up too . There is nothing more miserable than catching or kicking a rock , hitting or being hit in weather like this . It should limit passing . Our backs are as healthy as in 6 weeks .

I don’t pick us to lose . Now or never slugfest .
Hawks 24
Chiefs 22

I saw them demonstrate some of the high tech warm clothing last night on MNF. They've come a long way since the original Ice Bowl in the mid 60's. It was 14 degrees in Green Bay at kickoff last night, and the cold weather didn't seem to affect the overall play that much, at least so as one could notice. But they didn't have much of a breeze to contend with. Arrowhead is a completely enclosed stadium, so that should provide a bit of a wind block.

Well, if we win it will be a Christmas Miracle. Let's hope for the best.

After last Sunday with the Vikings 33 point comeback and the Patriots historically stupid play that handed the Raiders a win, the football gods may be all out of miracles.

Even a competitive game against Mahomes in KC will be a feat at this point.

As a rule, I'd bet that the Chiefs would hang a 40 burger on this putrid defense of ours. But as Hawktawk pointed out in the OP, the weather could be an equalizer. Think Bills vs. Pats last season when they had 40 mph wind gusts on a Monday night in December. Pats upset them 14-10.

Pats threw the ball 4 times in the game and one was Mac Brown being disobedient based on the sideline reaction . He did complete the ball .
Let’s see . We should be able to get our run game going some and when we do that we become very dangerous . Walker is in a superfunk but he has to get loose at some point . And getting loose for K9 means game changing chunk plays .

I think Dee Jay and Homer are both in as well . Geno played ball at West Virginia and in New York . He’s played in cold weather
We shall see . If Seattle wins out they are well over 90% to make the tourney and it’s right in front of them . This is the hard one .
Man on man as Bruce Irvin says . Get it done Hawks !

The Chiefs rank 5th in run defense and they'll be at home, so I wouldn't hold my breath that Walker picks this game to bust loose.

But given the weather, I'd hate to lay any money down on this game. The Chiefs will be playing with their balls out, though. No one wants to go to Buffalo, and that's what's at stake here for them.

Actually Walker missed Tuesday’s practice again . Dude has maybe 25 carries last month . He’s gonna make penny look durable if he keeps going like this . I don’t see us with a chance without some ability to run .

I wouldn't read too much into Walker's missing practice. It could be just an overabundance of caution. What he suffered was a non-contact injury, so there's a chance that he could injure it in a non-contact practice.

I agree that we're going to have to run if we are to have a chance in pulling off an upset. If we're going to win, the total score is going to have to be under 40 points, and that means running the ball to keep Mahomes and Co. on the sideline.

Im concerned with Walker. He had a couple scores vs the rams in short yardage but other than that he hasn't done a damn thing in 6 weeks.
Mahomey has 11 picks this year. We have Woolen who gives up the 4th worst passer rating in the league when targeted. Neal is #17 in opponent passer rating. Tariq owes us one after blowing the Kittle coverage last thursday.
Lets see.
