I think we might win this one too, but if we do it'll probably be by just a couple.

Although I am normally a superb predictor, sinister forces have obviously been at work to undermine my expectations currently (see: survival and pick results). Sacrificially, then, I have chosen to pick the Falcons to win 5 to 2, with the game ending with Atlanta giving up a voluntary safety at the end rather than risk a punt.

Unless we see a dramatically different offense, I don't think that there's any way we score more than 20 points no matter what team it is that's lining up against us. But the Falcons are starting a backup quarterback, too, and I don't see them as being significantly better than us. We're at home, so I'll go out on a limb and pick us to pull it out at the end. Wouldn't it be ironic if we won it on a Jason Meyers 64 yard FG?

Yep, a fate that happens to a lot of top draft picks. Mariota is one in a long line of them.
