I HATE the schedule makers....

As a STH living in E. Washington, the schedule makers have not been good to us. This year, only 2 home games in Sept/Oct - the other 6 are November 27th or later, not the time of year one likes to travel the pass.

Yeah, I hear ya. I used to have season tickets back in the 80's and lived in Moses Lake. Coming back across the pass was a b****. Plus back in those days, there was no way to resell or transfer your tickets if you couldn't or didn't want to go to the game. You had to snail mail them several days ahead of time if you could find someone willing to take them off your hands, which is the reason we gave them up (worst mistake I ever made in my life!)

But on the other hand, we're likely to be well out of the playoff hunt by then anyway.

Back in the '70s I went from The Tri-Cities to Seattle on a small commercial airplane in December. Never again. Nuff said.

Actually, part of the issue is ownership. My rep told me: "With the stadium being used by the Sounders and Seattle reign plus concerts we have to work around those dates." Hmm...who's the stadium owner?

Probably Columbia Pacific, a regional airline at that time - did a big belly flop in the TriCities and went away....

Either that or Cascade Airlines. They had a couple of planes crash and became known as "Crashcade" Airlines. They only lasted a year or two.

Regarding who owns the stadium, it's not the Allens. It is the Washington State Public Stadium Authority. That's not to say that Allen and the Seahawks don't have a lot of influence over scheduling and other business that goes on at the venue, but they don't own it and must go through the authority that actively manages it.
