You did not include Bo Melton WR who may become our primary return man.

I’m thinking Gabe Jackson might be a casualty for Cap purposes which would open up a spot for Melton and I
hope Lewis moves back to RG which is his natural position.

Blythe is the only center listed on that roster, and even he's played more guard than he has center. It's a real weakness, perhaps the biggest hole on the team.

Agreed about Jackson. He didn't play well last season.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that Jackson's money is guaranteed for this season. They would need to trade him to avoid losing $.

ObS, as usual, is correct. $6M guaranteed for 2022:

I think Bo Melton and Dareke Young will battle it out for Special Teams consideration making Freddie Swain and Deejay Dallas both more vulnerable. Back-up centers Dakota Shepley and Kyle Fuller on the outside looking in.

Would I like to upgrade Jackson? Yep.

Is that upgrade on the roster now? Nope.

So, I say keep him unless an upgrade hits the June 1 cap casualty pile.

We may have an undrafted free agent already in house to compete for back-up/depth.

The #Seahawks are signing Georgia State OG Shamarious Gilmore, per source.

Gilmore put up 36 reps on the bench press. Gilmore is big, strong and athletic. 2021 All-Sun Belt Conference First-Team, 51 consecutive starts.

Shamarious Gilmore might be in the mix.
He's smaller than many Guards at 6-3 295lbs so that fits into the expected size profile and he's had a lot of experience in College.
