Pocic sprained his knee so Fuller will be the starter for the moment.
I wonder if there are any FA Centers out there that might be an upgrade or at least quality depth behind Fuller or starting ahead of him.

Even with these two Obi I bet we are still the least (or one of the least anyway) injured teams in the NFL right now. And neither player is critically important.

Center is critically important, and how much of a difference between Pocic and Fuller, I don't know but injuries usually happen at positions where teams are already
thin, so if Fuller gets dinged up then we have to shuffle the OL probably with Lewis moving to Center. We lost Jordan Simmons to the Raiders, so the OL depth
might be an issue, too. I hope JS is looking at any FA Centers to make sure the OL remains relatively solid.

Anytime you lose your starting center, especially in the season opener, it's a big deal. Fuller is a 4 year vet and has been with us for over a year so one would have to assume that he's fully capable of stepping in so I don't think we're in a critical position, at least as it stands now.

As Cbob pointed out, we do have to keep things in perspective in that other teams have injuries to deal with, too. The Titans had to put one of their starting safeties on IR and one of their OLB's hasn't practiced so far this week, but other than that, they're relatively healthy, too.

So far, it doesn't look like injuries will be a big factor in this week's game.

From reading reports during preseason, I think Fuller is the starter and he's listed as such on the teams website. He played more snaps then Posic, up to the time he got injured, so i really don't think this is a 'panic' situation at this point. I'd be a lot more worried at the drop off at CB, Safety and our 2 x TE if any of those #1's got hurt.

Pocic started the season at Center, so he is our #1.
Center was already a position of weakness along the OL. We are now using our 2nd string C, so if he gets hurt then
we will have to use our 3rd string C - probably move Lewis and fill at Guard. However, one of our better backup
Guards, Jason Simmons was picked up by the Raiders so we better hope Fuller stays healthy. Otherwise it becomes
panic mode.

That was Cbob that made the comment you quoted, but I agree with him.

If RW goes down, we're screwed as any team that lost their starting quarterback would be. As far as how many games I think we'd win, I don't even want to commit to how many we'll win with him healthy let alone injured.

Damien Lewis has a groin injury. He's expected to play, but if Fuller gets hurt, Lewis might not be available to fill in.
To me, the OL looks like it's only an injury away from being a weakness on this team and 17 games is a lot to ask for players to stay healthy.

How many teams can lose their starting QB in the NFL and not lose the season? The Browns with Kennan are the only ones I can think of.

It was just 4 years ago, In 2017, that the Eagles lost their starting quarterback, Carson Wentz, whom at the time was playing at an MVP level, in mid December during their stretch run, when Nick Foles stepped in and led them to their first and only Lombardi, so it can be done.

If you lose your starting QB, you pretty much need an Offensive HC along with a good backup QB. Barring that, a HC that lets the Offense
do its thing without interference. Neither of which we have in Seattle.

We don't know yet how much, if any, interference Waldron will receive, plus I'd rate Geno as an above average backup quarterback who's a seasoned veteran, a former starter, and has been with us for a couple of years. He's very much in the same class as Foles was in 2017.

Having said that, still I think it's very unlikely that if we lose Russell for anything more than a couple of games that we'll fare very well.
