Now a Seahawk. No word on what we gave up yet.

Russell Wilson and 3 first rounders, but our LOB is back! Muuhhh hee hee hee!! On a more serious note, I am guessing a 6th rounder Bob.

Sounds about right considering his injury history.

He was supposed to be a first round pick coming out if not for a pro day injury ... but he's had a tough time staying healthy his whole time in the NFL. Hopefully that's behind him. He's got a ton of potential. Any day 3 draft pick is not a whole lot to gamble considering the upside.

It's odd that they'd announce a trade and not name what or who they're trading for. Are they waiting on notification of the next of kin?

We desperately need someone to challenge our starters at cornerback as it's one of if not the weakest position groups on the team.

Was about ready to get cut by the worst team in football......what that says about our secondary I'd rather not ponder.

Good point, except that we need to know exactly what it was that we gave up before we can form any kind of opinion on the wisdom of this trade. A 7th rounder with strings attached?

The report is a 6th rounder; but more to the point, end of training camp and they sign two CB’s. That room is apparently not figured out.

I heard a 6th round pick, too. Seems reasonable if we don't like our depth at CB right now, but there will be hundreds of players that are cut by tomorrow as the teams get down to 53, so i just wonder why we just didn't wait for him to be cut. He probably would of cleared waivers and became a free agent and as a former Husky, there was a good chance that he would sign with us anyway, or we could find an equal level CB to sign.

Not surprised they made some kind of move at CB. I've stated my opinion about Tre Flowers on here before, the 2nd coming of Tharold Simon. He simply cannot cover and cannot make any type of positive play. Wouldn't be surprised to see him cut. He was the exact type Pete looked for in a CB, I am glad Pete has changed his philosophy on what he covets in a CB.

It was a 2022 6th rounder they gave up.

Was this guy in such high demand we needed to trade for him? I guess we'll see.

It sounds like the guy was already on the way out the door, but if all we gave up was a 6th rounder, then it's not a bad gamble.

Some players fit different systems better than others. Perhaps they see him as a good fit in ours.
A 6th for him might not be a bad gamble at this point.

I'll give you an atta boy, and will even buy you a beer if we're ever so fortunate as to meet up. :D

They are really concerned about the left CB spot as they've traded for 2 CB's before the start of the season.
I think they aren't happy with Witherspoon as Reid has said they were playing him at LCB and not right.
Flowers on the other hand hasn't been mentioned, so maybe they think he's the starter at RCB - or maybe
Jones is there to compete at that spot and I'm making a bad assumption.
