NFL.com RB ranking

This is a little irritating. I know he gets injured, but show the man a little respect.

I don’t get ranking any rookie players in these type of things. Najee Harris may turn out to be a great pick,
but he’s untested at this time. Surely he must be rated below well established RBs unless the article is
about potential, but then it’s not about true rankings, it’s just a guess.

Hey, Sis! Glad to see you again!

If not for the fact that he gets injured so much, I'd rank Carson in the top 10 for sure. But I can't disagree with this logic:

The thing is, Carson has to be available. It's great that he's averaged 4.6 yards per carry for his career, but what good does it do if you're not on the field? He missed 19 games in first four NFL seasons.

We've known that since he became a starter, so it's odd to me that we have only drafted 1 RB early (on a supposedly run first team).
Now that there are 17 games, it's going to look even worse when he goes down to injury.

Most coaches would take an O-lineman over a RB in the first round. RB is one of the riskiest picks in the first and one of the easiest to hit on late in a draft.

Carson's been more reliable last couple years, not really missing more time than the NFL average. When healthy hes as good as anyone. Glad hes back I didn't expect that

But he's never played a full year and even in College he missed games due to injury.
I love the way he plays but it's just not sustainable for a season and we have 1 extra game to fill in for him.

Let's wait and see what Waldron's offense looks like before we start calling out a need for yet another running back or pronouncing Carson as unlikely to make it through the season. Although it would run contrary to Pete's overall philosophy, there's a chance that it could be less reliant on the running game. We know that Russell has been pressuring anyone that will listen to open up the offense, so it could look quite a bit different than Pete Ball.

Waldron's offense ain't likely to make playing RB in the NFL any less hazardous to one's health.

I was under the impression that McVay comes from the Shanahan tree and that Offense is RB based but with a lot of different concepts
and varied passing game additions relative to Pete's style of Offense.

Remember too guys, any list of top anything is all subjective depending on who is making the list. I think Wing Commander Privateer is the greatest Space Combat sim of all time, but most experts would say Freespace 2.

Henry is #1 on both lists. McCaffery is #2 on one list, #3 on the other. Both lists have the same top 5 players, just a few shuffled positions. The further away you get from the top, the more opinionated the rankings become. Looks like a no never mind to me.
