Malcom Butler is like David Tyree. Some barely still in the league player who made one spectacular play that will live forever in Super Bowl history, but hasn't done much on a consistent basis. That's sports for you. Role-player to hero back to role-player.

That's a good analogy. And on the flip side, there's the goats (not greatest of all time) that had one spectacular boner that has led to their immortality, like Scott Norwood and Bill Buckner (baseball).

Instead of "goats" maybe they should be called "Players Optimizing Opponents Performance", or "POOP"
