3rd and 2 run call

I hate to pin the outcome of a game on one play but one call either Wilson or Carroll made on 3rd and 2 on Seattle' last possession before regulation expired. He called a handoff to the running back when everybody was expecting that and it was stopped. I would have like to have seen something more creative tried. Had we made that first down we could have salted the game away. That one left a bad taste in my mouth. I just felt something bad was going to come of it and it did.

I didn't like that call, either. There was no need to force AZ to use a timeout as they had already burned their last one. I would have opted for some sort of RPO and put the game in Russell's hands to make 2 frigging yards.

I agree! I was pissed at that play, run a sweep, set of the screen, anything is a better risk than a straight up hand off up the middle on a stacked defense!

Especially notable when you consider that by that time our defense was gassed and totally unable to stop the Cards on offense whenever they got the ball.
