I didn't think they started flexing games this early, but it works out for me! We have company coming over at noon this Sunday, and I was going to have to bite the bullet and take one for the team.

Yeah this is pretty awesome. It looks like it's because of the the COVID situation on the Raiders and the threat that they may have to postpone that game if there are any more positive Tests for the Raiders. We typically play well in prime time so let's go make it 6-0!!

Ahh, that makes sense. Did you read/hear that somewhere or are you speculating?

I read it some where... I’ll see if I can find it.

Edit:

Here’s a statement from the league:

“These decisions were made out of an abundance of caution to ensure that a game would be available for fans on Sunday Night Football.
We expect the Buccaneers-Raiders game to be played on Sunday afternoon. Scheduling decisions are made to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts.”

And here’s the article:

You're too honest! You should have claimed that you came to that conclusion based on your own reasoning and without the benefit of any other explanation and I would have believed you! :D

It was all over the news here in Vegas this week. Our local newspaper, the Las Vegas Review Journal doesn't have the Raiders in the sports section, they have a whole separate 6-8 page "Raiders" section in the paper. One can read about everything from the type of soil that the stadium turf contains of to what Carr had for breakfast each day. I always love it when the Hawks play in prime time. There is one drawback though. His name is Cris Collinsworth.
