Dirty Tackle on Carson

Every time I see a defensive player grab onto a leg and start the death roll, I know they are trying to hurt that offensive player. That's the kind of dirty tactic someone like Gregg Williams would teach to injure offensive players.
That Trysten Hil or whatever his name is did that roll to hurt Chris Carson. There is zero reason that garbage should be allowed.

It's called a gator roll and it's absolutely intended to injure. No place in the NFL.

Gator roll? It should be banned.

Yeah, its' what a gator or crock will do when they first latch into their prey. In the wild, not University of Florida Gators.

And according to the article, it looks like our #1 draft pick Jordyn Brooks is out for a couple weeks, too.

Pete said Adams had a grade 1 groin strain and in looking up on the internet for recovery
times it was suggested to be 2 to 3 weeks. Maybe that's for the average joe, and with the
superior rehab that professional athletes get maybe he might only miss 1 game.
As far as Carson goes, I think it was unsportsmanlike at best of Hill twisting Carson's leg and
hope something significant comes of it from the NFL Head Office.

Trystin Hill got 2 fines for the hit on Russell and Carson, but both were the minimum. I guess the Seahawks don't rate what an illegal hit on Tom Brady or an
alligator twist on Elliott would garner.

I must be the Lone Ranger in here, but I didn't feel that it was clear and unmistakable that Hill was trying to injure Carson, certainly not to the same extent other incidents that involved players like Suh and Haynesworth, so I can understand a minimum fine.

Yeah you are. That was absolutely an intentional gator roll. In fact, your instinct in that situation is to let go once you're on the ground. In my day they'd teach us to gator roll if he could make it look less intentional than that. But then they also called a QB on a roll out "open meat" and we we taught to try to knock them out of the game, out of many games even better.

and today, that same Trystin Hill put the Brown's Chubb out of the game with a questionable hit, too.

Yup, he's dirty. Not Conrad Dobler dirty but dirty by today's standards.

I saw the Chubb play - in that one Hill was falling down backwards after being pushed the right tackle and rolled onto Chubb's right leg, so I won't say it's dirty. However, the late helmet to helmet hit on Russ and the death roll on Carson were both reckless at best, and intentional at worst.
