Mahomes is more athletic and has the advantage of very young legs and a more impressive first two years as a starter, with a league MVP and SB MVP, neither of which Russell has yet to attain. But Russell has an edge experience-wise, perhaps throws a better deep ball, and is no slouch himself. I don't think there's any doubt as to the top two.
I suppose if I had one game to play, I'd take Russell simply due to his experience.

This year NLF network mentioned they had the highest player response ever ( I assume due to players at home) so it's a pretty representative idea of how other players figure it.
Bobby at 13 was his highest rating and the odd ball was DK over Tyler -- just to see the players put DK in was surprising to me, but a nice look at the future and Carson, even with injury made the top 100, too.

Not even sure how we got him when we did. This dude is a straight freak of nature. If he capitalizes, he's going be hard to stop for anyone.
Can't read the Athletic, I've been resisting paying premium fees at everybody's different sites, it's become as bad as streaming.

My comment was a question to JS, though. He said that the odd ball in the ranking was DK over Tyler, I was just wondering what he was referring to.

I just think overall Tyler is a better football player, but DK gets the press and media attention -- probably why he came in higher.
Later on, when Russell's highlights came on for his #2, almost every highlight of passing was with his TD's to DK. Only the impossible reception against the Rams was in the highlight reel for Tyler. By the way, DK certainly looks awesome when shown up in a highlight reel and if he and Russell really click, DK's going to be an All-Pro very soon.
