The Chiefs in KC are a tough out, I'll say KC by a field goal. And GB's gonna fold like a cheap suit, Niners by 2 TDs.

I have the Niners winning easily like 24-10, but I'm going with the Titans over KC.

Hmmm, Ill break it down analyst style. Both are fascinating matchups.
In the AFC KC has the better Qb although Tannehills body of work as a Titan has been stellar. KC has a massive monkey on their back having not been to the SB in 5 decades. Reid has a gorilla on his back, known as a big game choker with a record of 1-4 in championship games with some stacked teams. Vrabel has been nothing short of BBII as a coach but obviously he's in rarified air as a coach, somewhere he didn't expect to be. Truly this is a pressure free team playing on house money though.
Tennessee has been boring but deadly efficient and Travis Henry is doing things on a weekly basis I've rarely seen and combining it with Tannehill's mobility its by far the superior rushing attack. I see where Frank Clark popped off about Henry being easy to tackle. Not smart. Im tempted to pick the Titans but seeing the offensive explosion the Chiefs laid on Houston absolutely erasing a huge deficit I gotta bet they will have enough. KC 31- Titans 29.
Kyle Shanahan addressed his team after the divisional and said "dont be that stupid" referring to looking back at the blowout of the Packers and humiliation of Rodgers. That said how does it not creep into the heads of the players? But it's true of both squads too. Is GB doubting themselves or bent on and capable of revenge? The bottom line here is SF has too much on defense. They took a hot Vikings team coming off a huge upset of a great team and made them look silly. Its remarkable Cousins did anything at all against that withering pressure. The 9ers cruised despite a so so performance from Garoppolo. I see this game as closer than the regular season game but a comfortable win for the 9ers. 27-17

Patrick Mahomes is the real deal. He stays healthy and he's going to be ridiculous. Titans getting a taste. Frisco going to end Green Bay, then get a taste of Mahomes.

Yup. I agree. Unlike Lamar Jackson, he's a good pocket passer and an accurate thrower. IMO he's the best of the next generation quarterbacks.
I picked the Titans but I'm glad the Chiefs won. They have some incredible fans that have waited no less than 50 years for another Super Bowl appearance and I'll be rooting for them to win it all.

I knew Green Bay would crap their pants. Seahawks would have made for a much better game.

The Titans wupped the Ravens because they smartly kept contain on Jackson by making him run up the middle instead of allowing him to get to the outside. They forgot that today with Mahomes and he killed them with his feet to the outside. I don't know how many drives he kept alive that way.
Yes, Mahomes is a special athlete. He's incredibly savvy for his youth in how he reacts to situations. He does an excellent job of evading rushers and getting rid of the ball when there is nothing there. He's extremely difficult to sack.

I think we all saw that one coming. Most SF fans were thanking their lucky stars when the Packers beat us last weekend, although the way the Niners were running the ball, I'm not sure if we would have had as much success against them as we did in our previous two outings. Garappolo threw just 8 times and didn't take a sack. And to those that think that Travis Kelce is the best TE in football, you need to put away your fantasy cheat sheet and take a look at how George Kittle blocks.
It's becoming increasingly apparent that Aaron Rodgers' performance is beginning to slide. He played well against us but in his last regular season game against the Lions and threw two costly picks. His completion percentage was good but he made a lot of hay when his team was down big in the 2nd half. It seemed as if he pulled a Cam Newton, just staring at a fumble at his feet instead of diving after it. They had a relatively easy schedule this season, so my early prediction is that they'll have a drop off similar to what happened to the Rams this year.

I'm not sure Rodgers is beginning to slide. It's a different Offense with them trying to make it about
the team and not Rodgers being heroic. It didn't work out yesterday, but like us, they are a few players
short of really contending for a SB. They really only have 1 dominant WR in Adams, so I expect them to
go WR early, and maybe TE as well.
