QB's are Really Off Limits Now

Just watching NFL Red Zone today and I watched them call (at least) 4 of the new 'rules' to protect the QB and this is really going to slow down the better rushers. The are calling the "if you put your body weight onto the QB, you are guilty, no matter if the actual 'hit' is legal" -- and the 4 hits I saw penalties called on seemed to all be legal, as of last year. All the penalties were in the pocket, so we'll see how the refs call ones for Russell when he scrambles.
I think they will have to learn to twist the QB down. The last one on Sheldon Richardson, if you saw it, was textbook head into the chest... until today.
The shift away from 'football' as we knew it continues, but so far it's been a good day waiting for the Seahawks. Team of the AM is Tampa so far.
