Obviously we all knew it was BS, but someone actually went and did a little research to disprove the lie.
It's almost like we're political candidates, who have to deflect lies started about them, NOT because they are true, but just because some people will believe it, and most will never bother to find out whether or not it's true.
That Wall Street article was one of the worst pieces of garbage I've ever read, it was full of assumptions and outright lies.
Fortunately now someone has done some research to dispute it.

The media is biased but with Wilson the #1 jersey and Lynch and Sherm in the top 10 the worm is turning.The refs are starting to give our secondary some respect. And as I posted a couple weeks ago an article could be written about Denver cheating on virtually every offensive pass play. They have succeeded despite Manning's compromised arm by continually throwing underneath and picking constantly, leading to the largest YAC in the league. Denarius Thomas has almost 700 yards after the catch. When Denver throws a screen the lineman are routinely engaged with defenders a second or more before the pass is completed. For some reason the league has allowed this to go on all season but it will be interesting to see how it is called after the injury caused by Welker in the AFC title game. Frankly I hope the refs let it all go. Id love to see that midget Welker try that junk on one of our defensive backs. He will be snoozing on the field even in spite of his R2D2 helmet.

Yep, been saying all year that "perception" and "fact" are two entirely different things. Thomas' "holding call" against Tampa is a perfect representation of it. That call gets called maybe 2% of the time in the NFL ( and that might be a generous estimate) but against Seattle it is/was going to be called.

Don't tell Future though, he is stuck in his they Mug the receivers on every play. Horses and water and such. The Seahawks do not do it anymore than just about any other team in the NFL ( with the exception of teams incapable of providing man coverage or talent level to do so). Pretty frustrating watching other teams tearing off someones jersey, and watching Seattle get flagged for some pretty inconsequential stuff.

If someone actually reads the rules, they might be surprised to find that a DB isn't required to not touch or grab an opponent after five yards, it is again a "judgement" call, and only if the DB effects a receivers ability to catch the ball is there supposed to be a flag, hand fighting, grabbing IS actually legal, and a DB has as much right to the ball, and the space as a receiver.

Really it seems to me that most all DBs in the league try to play the same, grab as much as they can and take their chances. They all try to keep a hand on the reciever.They just aren't as big, fast, and strong as Seattle's guys.

Brandon Browner now knows what a bit of weed toking cost him. But, you know what? I am glad in a way that he won't be playing today because he was a P-I magnet. He just couldn't seem to break himself of grabbing the receiver while the ball was in the air drawing the penalty. I notice that as soon as BB was gone the P-I flags dropped off to next to nothing.
