Good.

Take note Earl; Tyler is in camp. Deals get done while you're in camp.

My thoughts exactly.

That seems to be Schneider's way of doing business.
It may be that he's burned too many bridges with the FO for ET to come back into camp before he loses a full year (contract wise) and can become a FA next year.
People sometimes make bad decisions because of pride.

Yep. And don't think for a minute that this thought wasn't in the back of JS's mind when he decided to pull the trigger on Lockett now rather than later in the season. There was really no other reason why this deal had to be made now rather than another month or two.

As far as signing Lockett up, he's lost a little something since his injury, but is still a reliable receiver and decent return man, but Penny will be seeing some action on return teams, too. I guess I'm kinda neutral on the resigning.

30 million for a role player? wow. Maybe JS is losing it a little. I love this kid and he was amazing early on but lost a step after the gruesome injury. I'm shocked by these numbers. He should save the dough for Wilson coming up and maybe earl as well. The Pats we are not :| :|

They were talking about Lockett having the most yardage of any player in the last 3 years (ST, receiving, and running the ball), so he may be more valuable than just a WR.
As well, he believes he was only 75% or 80% last year so he might improve this year from last.
With kickoff rules having changed, he may be more effective than before and with the escalation of WR salaries he might be a good deal in 2 years.

From what I'm seeing, Lockett and the other receivers kind of make Darbough a bust.

He's been hurt, too which doesn't help him compete or develop.

Darboh has talent. He was picked up by NE. Belichick won't waste a spot on the roster if he didn't think Darboh had talent.

We kept an extra RB which is why we let Darboh go. It probably came down to Darboh or Prosise. Both were 3rd rounders. One had to go.
