Reading this makes me like this trade just a little more Mainly because I hate the Dallas cowboys but also because Denver's defense would have been pretty stout with Richardson too

if you are one of those I am not clicking that link types. Dallas and Denver had been working on trades for Richardson when we redoubled our efforts and pulled the rug out from under them.

I agree it was just what the defense needed. during preseason I could tell some of their defensive play calls were missing the disruption they seemed to expect McDowell to bring. the good part of this trade is Richardson brings to the table the expected potential McDowell may have /had, this season so it is an immediate upgrade. another good thing is if he leaves after this season we get a 3rd round compensatory pick at the least so we didn't give up nearly as much as some thought initially. love this move and firmly believe like adding Bennett and Avril before our SB48 run adding Richardson will be the move that gave us another ring. Lock it down now Seahawks over the Pats payback for SB49 with a SB48esque defensive beat down !
