It is this simple - and it applies Nation Wide for determining which team each person will be rooting for.

Because if you rooted for this guy when you were a kid

Then You will be pulling for Peyton Manning and the Bronco's.

Now If you Rooted for this Guy when you were a Kid

Then you will be rooting for Richard Sherman and the Seahawks.

It is that simple.

No use fighting it - it's time to embrace your Inner Villain 12th Man.

Fortunately for me I rooted for Snidley Whiplash when I was a kid so I will have no inherent conflicts in continuing to support both the Hawks and the greatest cornerback in the Game.

I forgot about Boris - Another excellent Villain - I liked him too.

Much like the Greatest Cornerback in the NFL - He had a way of making the ladies purr like kittens too.

Have to admit...it' was Dudley! However, after surviving many tribulations, I now root for guys like Gru!

You Guys think that Players, Coaches, Front Office Staff and Media Members read these boards?

I always thought so.

It is that simple.

Thanks Rott - LOL - I am not saying for sure that I provided the idea for this column.

But I will say this post shows how much more effective visuals are in communicating - we are both saying the exact same message - except McGrath uses a significantly more amount of words to say it - Plus I think my original post might have given some people a laugh! I know It cracked me up writing it.

My Father in-law was in the front office of the Hawks during the Behring days. (remember when that douche moved management to Cali...) Anyway, he frequently read fan reaction from various sources. He became an avid reader and quasi-frequent poster at the PI after he retired. I'd say his last couple of years, he spent most of his free time on the PI forum. During family dinners, it wasnt uncommon for him to reference some opinion of a few of the posters here at the Shack. He was in legal, working on various contractual issues - from players to leases.

He attended every game up until the 07 season. He took the whole family back to Detroit for that disaster, I wish he were still with us to see this seasons Hawk team. (and perhaps a sweet hook up in NY...)
