The Dawg's sure played a lot better than Ohio State did tonight. Nice to see them in the National Spotlight.

Giving up 10 points on turnovers to a team as talented as Alabama was the killer. Personally, I was surprised that UW could hang with them. Chris Peterson has that club heading in the right direction.

Happy New Year's, everybody! This is in all likelihood my final year of employment before hitting the rocking chair, so I have an extra special New Year's resolution.

I watched the game and thought the Huskies were the Seahawks in the way they so efficiently ran the ball. Bet bama could be the Seahawks

Old but Slow wrote:Have a good year shacksters, and may you live in interesting times (whatever that means). Personally, I will be glad to see 2016 in the rearview mirror, and it was pretty much a disaster for me, with illness, surgery, recovery and all (including expenses), but it is all looking good for '17, and that includes our 'Hawks.

The good side of my bad year was that I lost about 60-70 pounds, but I don't recommend the diet.

Actually that "May you live in interesting times" is a translation of a Chinese curse.

May we all live in a healthy state - Both Physically and mentally - this is most important. Hope 2017 is the best year yet for everyone.

The game reminded me of a few Seahawks games unfortunately. The defense was heroic. Alabama is so mind numbingly boring. Recruit the biggest fastest players in the country and run a high school offense right up the gut. I don't care how many championships they win they are ruining college ball for me.

Definitely happy new year everyone and GO HAWKS!!!!
