Did we write off Carpenter too early?

Maybe, but I doubt it. Even though he was activated and started last night, I doubt that he'll be on our team next season. IMO we'll be looking to upgrade that position.

Alvin Bailey can do the job admirably, especially for the price he cost.

The false start penalty on him last night was just big-game jitters. He isn't used to playing in that big of a limelight. Yet.

Coach Carroll will have that fixed come Super Bowl Sunday. And then Carpenter can be let go in the offseason.

Carpenter looked like he played OK yesterday.

I thought Bowie played pretty well against NO.
Was I wrong - did he not grade out very well or did he get injured?

It just seems odd that he would start one playoff game and not be active the next.
