Weather Forecast for Tonight

28 degrees game time temp, 10% chance of precipitation, light wind, not too unlike the conditions in Green Bay except for the footing. If our DL can't get pressure under those conditions, we probably won't be able to blame it on the weather. OL is multi talented, they can perform poorly under any weather conditions.

Oh, and BTW, here in the Tri Cities we got 8" of snow last night (at my place), I would not have made it home if not for my 4x4 pickup, and the temp is supposed to drop to near zero F tonight.

The one thing the article doesn't mention is the effect not having Beast has had, which I think is significant. He's the one that gave our team its swagger. But otherwise, I agree with the take in the article. This team isn't even close to our SB winning team of 2013 or the near repeat of 2014. That doesn't mean we can't win it, just that we aren't nearly as dominant as we were in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

I disagree with the article for the most part.I think we have some great draft pickups and undrafted FAs like Rawls. And pine for beast all you want. He was gone most of last year as well.
5 picks and 5 drops and missing wide open TDs by a mile and no big plays, pressure on D was our problem last week. Its play calling and execution and the D getting sick and tired of being hung out to dry on the road.
I hope there aren't some guys who are getting bored or something. There plenty of talent.

Which serves to prove my point: We were not dominant last year, not anywhere close to the 2012-2104 teams that Beast was so much a part of. I love the way Rawls runs and he's more than adequate in terms of replacing our lost production out of the RB position, but there's no one that's ever going to replace the heart and spirit that Beast gave this team.

Weather won't matter in this game! Hawks win easy and the D finds its footing against a anemic Rams O!

Go Hawks!
