Going to the Niners game..

Postby RiverDog » Fri Sep 23, 2016 5:08 pm

As a belated Christmas gift, I'm treating my daughter and her boyfriend, as well as my brother-in-law, to the Niners game this Sunday. Anyone out there that wants to meet up for a pregame beverage?

341, Row U. Pretty far away from the field, but a great angle. It was my daughter's boyfriend's first Hawks game, and we picked a good one: Great weather and a blow out win. We had a blast!

I wish you would have seen this thread earlier, it would have been great to meet up.

last game I was at was in 333 about halfway up. I often wonder if fans ever have heart attacks hiking up there as it is steep.

First row of the first is the best seat in the house but first row of any tier above is a very close second!

Disagree. If I'm sitting in the lower bowl, I want to be at least 25 rows up. I want to be able to see the opposite sideline.

I'm going to the Hawks game in Santa Clara, too. Maybe we can hook up.

Maybe, RD. It woulda been so easy to run up the stairs and buy you a big old beer. DAMN!

These tickets are awesome. I have sat next to the same guy (an original season ticket holder - he's missed like 3 games in 40 years) the last three times. We used to sit lower and then took a tour of the stadium and realized that the view, for us, is much better higher. Plus you don't get soaked in a downpour. I'd say we were between the 35 and 40 yard-line.... feet on the railing with nobody in front of us. Perfect. Pricey - but perfect.

And we had absolutely perfect weather. From where we were sitting, we could see Mt. Rainier, which is the criteria for a good weather day in Seattle.

The beer would have been great prior to the game, but I don't drink during as I have a 3.5 hour drive home afterwards. Anyhow, thanks a bunch for the thought. Let me know if you can meet up with us sometime prior to the Santa Clara game.

I have tickets to the MNF game vs. the Bills, too.
