It is an odd anomaly with us the last couple/few years.

I think it has a lot to do with teams simply not challenging us with deep or medium passes very often?

Great question and great point, Burrrton. Who would throw the long ball against Sherm? #goHawks

Part of it is just bum luck. We haven't been getting the tipped passes and odd bounces that make up a good deal of interceptions. Last week was a prime example. We had a situation where a pass bounced high off a receiver's hands but Bobby Wagner never saw it as he was focused in on making the hit on the receiver. That stuff has a tendency of evening itself out over the course of time, so we're due to start getting some lucky bounces.

I'm not at all concerned about our defense. They're an experienced bunch playing at the peak of their careers. If we get even a nominal performance out of our offense and/or special teams I think we'll survive.

River instead of bum luck , which is true, how about they were not consciously trying to get an INT. What I mean is they have defensive plays where an INT is tried for consciously and it does have a good chance of happening when its called. So instead of just great defense and stopping the opponent we should try for the turnover too. :D :D :D :D :D :D
