Very cool artwork! That got me thinking, have the Hawks ever had a PNW Indian war dance during pregame?

They do it all the time in Rugby, intimidate the opponent...and get the team/crowd fired up!

That's cool! Another creative way to represent the spirit of the 12th man.

I don't know that I would call it an "Indian war dance" but I have thought it would be cool to have a Native dance group do something for either pregame or halftime. it would be even cooler if they had hawks colored regalia on, my aunt formed a dance group and I know a few more I am sure any of them would love to do it. most "war dances" have been retired as most functions are intertribal.

the chainsaw art is really cool though. rest assured that was not all done by chainsaw but still an amazing work of art.

Yea, the one above is from New Zealand I think. But a NW style would be very cool.

agreed , the Hakka is most definitely a Maori Dance. my tribe has one similar to that (I think) but like I said it isn't often used anymore. there are other dances that annouce you, your tribe, clan etc those would be more likely to be used. I think an Eagle or maybe thunderbird dance would be perfect. the issue is most dance have very specific purposes behind them so they most likely wouldn't be used for such a performance, anyway I digress very cool both the art and your idea Yoder
