Choose 3 potential players per pick that we have at right now, the first of the three that you list for a round is the pick you'd choose if it were a one round Mock.
Scoring:
- 1 point for each player that we draft
- 1 point for the correct round drafted
- 1/2 point for each player from your mock that we sign as UDFA’s
- 1/2 point for a player you have listed first in a round.
Here's mine:
Round 1 (26)
1- DT Kenny Clark UCLA 6’3, 308
2- OT Shon Coleman Auburn 6’6, 313

2- G Josh Garnett Stanford 6’5, 315
3- OLB Yannick Ngakoue Maryland 6'2, 245
Round 3 (97)
1- CB Will Redmond Mississippi State 5’11, 182
2- G Rees Odhiambo Boise St 6’4, 314

Boy, a lot of work there, CBob. Maybe someday soon I'll have enough time to put into an adventure like this and really dig into the draft.
Just a couple of comments: I think we'll take a RB higher than the 7th round. With Rawls just coming off crutches we're pretty thin at that position, and I think (perhaps hope is a better term) that we'll take an OT early, perhaps even with our first pick should one of the top OT's happen to slip. I have a hard time believing that Pete and John are comfortable with the tackles we currently have on the roster to the point where they'd wait that long before picking one up.
I'm also intrigued with your selection of Vernon Adams. I've watched him at Eastern and at Oregon and like you, feel that he possess many of the same qualities that Russell has and I'd be delighted if we selected him. He reminds me a little of Colin Kaepernick but not quite the same arm strength. I think he could be a viable backup.

I'm interested in Adams late, too.
He has enough of the physical qualities of Wilson that we wouldn't have to change the Offense if Wilson comes out.
I'll try to post my list in the near future.

Yeah I almost went with Shon Coleman in the first, in fact all my drafts up until this final one did, and that would have had Kenyan Drake as our RB in the 4th, but in the final draft here I just had to get Nembot in there so things kinda shuffled a bit.

Awesome thread Bob!
Here's mine.
I'm going to try to focus on getting the right players vs. getting the round right, because I just have NO idea which round most of these guys will be taken in. What I think I do know, is the type of player Pete and John have shown interest in. So if it looks like I've got guys listed who would NEVER fall that far, that's just because I'm trying to get all the names of guys I think they'll try to target in somewhere, wherever I can.
R1
Germain Ifedi
Jonathan Bullard
Jason Spriggs
R2
Conner McGovern
Kyler Fackrell

That's the winning play right there. The winner has always been the person with the most names as opposed the most rounds correct.

DT Jonathan Bullard

I'm hearing rumors that Derrick Henry could slip out of the top 20. If he does, is there any chance that we'd take him with our #26 overall, and if so, do you think that it would be a wise move?

If mock drafts and the fanspeak site are any indication, he could easily be available in the 2nd, but I doubt he is on their list of must haves coming out of this draft.
So to answer your questions, yes he could be there at 26 and no he wouldn't be a good choice at 26 imo. He takes too long to get up to speed for our Offense - remember how well Rawls did when he hit the holes quickly? But I could be wrong.

I think he'll slide well into the late second, and no I don't think it would be wise at all, for the same reasons he will slide.
He's a fit for a team with a dominant line that can open holes for him.Dallas for example would be a great fit for him.
For us however, he would be an awful fit.
He simply has no ability to make guys miss in the backfield at all. When he has any kind of contact at all in the backfield, he averages less than a yard a carry.
Think about how many times we've seen Marshawn and now even Rawls make something out of nothing because of their ability to break tackles and or make guys miss in the backfield, after it look like the defense had them dead to rights.
It's absolutely VITAL in our run game.
Henry is an absolutely AWFUL fit for us. I wouldn't draft him for the Seahawks offense if he fell to the fifth round, because there will still be guys available there who will fit our team better. IN fact there will be several undrafted guys who fit better.
So not just no, but HELL NO!

OK that's 5 of us so far, any one else want in be there before the first pick of the draft tomorrow!
Zorn, welcome to the party!
ObS, can't officially count your 3 UDFA picks, credit for UDFA's is only for those among your three per selection.
Now what I do is copy everybody's selections to a worksheet and search the document for each name as we pick, so spelling and possibly punctuation can cause me to miss one occasionally so don't be shy about saying "hey, I got that one!"

Thanks c-bob!
After posting, I realized I should have switched some of the picks around, since I doubt we'll be drafting 5 OL this weekend:)
But, that was my original order and post, so I kept it. If I hit on Any picks I'll be pleased. I think last year somebody ended up scoring 2 or 3 points, which is pretty good all things considered.

Back to defend (hopefully) my title... lol
Seems a lot of players fit the Seahawk mold this year, I had a hard time narrowing my list down to 3 per pick.
1. Le'Raven Clark OT Texas Tech
Robert Nkemdiche DE Ole Miss
Germain Ifedi OT Texas A&M
2. Conner McGovern OL Missouri
Jason Spriggs OL Indiana
Jonathan Bullard DT Florida
3. Joe Haeg OL NDSU
Bronson Kaufusi DE BYU
Kyler Fackrell LB Utah ST
3. Tyler Erving RB San Jose St.
Dean Lowry DT Northwestern
Ronald Blair DT Appalachian St.
4. Joe Dahl OL Wash. St.
Miles Killebrew S Southern Utah
Devon Cajuste WR Stanford
5. Brandon Shell OL South Carolina
Darius Jackson RB E. Michigan
Joe Thuney OL NC St.
6. Joel Heath DL/OL Michigan St.
James Bradbury CB Samford
Shalique Calhoun DE Michigan St.
7. Justin Murray OL Cincinnati
Christian French LB Oregon
Alex Redmond OL UCLA
7. Alex Balducci DT Oregon
DeAndre Elliot CB Colorado St.
Conner Wujciak DT Boston College
Conner McGovern is my favorite player in the whole draft, if we took him at 26, I wouldn't be shocked. Tough, gritty, athletic and can play anywhere on the OL.
I think Cable covets LeRaven Clark as a guy he can coach up. Very athletic and good feet. We can trade down 10 spots or so and still have a good shot at him.
I had a hard time mocking a corner to the Hawks as we have a lot of depth on the back end of the roster. Bradbury and Elliot fit the length requirements and we have taken a corner every year, so I went with them.

Well played, North and monkey!
Each of you nailed your 1st rounder.
We end up getting an OL that many mock drafts had us selecting. Why am I surprised?:)
Great move by JS - again - to trade down a few spots to net us an extra 3rd rounder in the process.
Eli Apple went waaay higher than expected. Many mocks had him going #25 to Pittsburgh.
Seahawks locked and loaded (with picks) for the remainder of the event. Should be fun.

Yeah, every year I plan on putting one together but just get too busy. I am getting ready for spring football and coaching 2 t-ball teams. So by the time I get the kids to bed I'm pretty wiped.

You need to dock The Primate a few tenths of a point because he guaranteed us that Carson Wentz would be the first QB taken..
But yea, great job, North and Monkey. I was seeing Ifedi's name pop up in a lot of places. I think people are starting to figure out our brain trust's method of madness.

Welcome, Sis!
Geez - I was the Only one to get shutout, lol.
You can tell I'm a newbie at this:)
Regardless, I'm happy the way things went yesterday. Good ol' Schneider adds an extra 3rd rounder - which is big in a draft like this - and we get an OL that we can work with. I'm even encouraged by some of the "C" grades I've seen for picking Ifedi, since the pundits are usually wrong about us anyway.

How do we know that J.S. didn't clue Hawk Sista in BEFORE the draft, considering she has been an invited guest to the VMAC??? Just Say'in H.S. OK, That is all TIC, I know they would not have told you what every Hawk fan wanted to know. I just couldn't help myself and decided to push your button.
P.S. great picking the 3 who nailed it. I wasn't surprised by the pick because so many mocks had us picking Germain, but at #26, of course. WTG J.S. for picking up another 3rd. rounder. Now, if we need to spend capital to move up to get that special player we can.

Wow, well done, mi lady!
I Finally get on the board with the Rees Odhiambo pick (though I had him going in the 4th rd).
Impressive all the way around so far.
I'm liking our team's picks - Reed at DT was a solid 2nd rounder. Prosise is an interesting choice at RB, Vanett has good size for a TE.

I heard the 3rd round on NFL Radio & Pat Kirwin said he knew Pete would take THIS TE because he told him he would (they are good friends). He went on to say if anyone in this draft looked like Gronk, it's this guy who didn't drop a pass all year & out physicalled his opponents. I could live w/ another good blocking/catching TE.
