For all the talk about Russell Wilson and the resurgence of this offense, it is interesting to note that this was the 2nd game in a row and the 6th time this season that our defense has not given up a touchdown.

I thought that was something more than just an interesting footnote....

It's been encouraging to see, no matter what offenses we've faced during our win streak.
We'll need to lean on them even more to close the regular season and during the playoffs, which are almost secure at this point.

Almost:)

For all the talk about how Seattle has struggled they've actually still managed being tied for 2nd in the league in team defense by yardage (with Carolina) and 3rd in the league in scoring defense. Both #1 in the NFC.

Maybe we're a bit spoiled.

The Bucs and Falcons both losing virtually assures us of a playoff spot as we now have a 2 game lead with 3 to go over every team that's in the hunt for a wild card. It's a near certainty that the wild cards will be us and either the Packers or the Vikings.

It also very possible that the NFC East champ will have a losing record. Oh, how I wish CP were still around. Remember how he used to rub our noses in it back in 2010?
