If you rewatch that last play its pretty clear why that happened. Great job by the Panthers. They get to the line and quick snap the ball. The ball is snapped before the D gets the chance to see the formation, make a call, and get set up. Cam does a GREAT JOB of keeping ET in the middle of the field, pump fakes and with the blown coverage Olson is WIDE OPEN. We will never know what the call was supposed to be. It is pretty obvious that it was either ET or Sherm who was supposed to cover him, although it could even have been Kam. Like I said we will never know for sure. That is not an excuse, as the strength of our team our D should not blow 4th quarter leads multiple times in the season. It needs to be cleaned up.
