T-jack is going to be out for a while with a high ankle sprain. The Hawks are talking about bringing in another experienced QB. 3 names mentioned are Matt Flynn (NO!!!), Tyler Thigpen, and Mike Vick. Who out of those three do you think they should sign?? Or, is there any other free agent QB's out there some of you to prefer??

I don't really care too much, I think it'll just be a camp arm that we'd need..I'd probably go with the one who can run the fastest. Judging from Friday night's game, it's what is needed.

Not sure. I haven't seen any of them play in a couple of years.

Vick probably has the most experience and he's still pretty mobile which he will need to be behind our OL at least until they get their act together.

Michael Vick won't sign to be 'camp body'... he wants BIG $$$$ to sign... good luck. BJ Daniels back to QB is my guess.

High ankle sprains sometimes can last several weeks, I doubt they would start the season with only R.J. Archer and possibly B.J. Daniels backing up R.W.
That Denver rookie dove for T-Jack's ankle, a little earlier that could have been Wilson possibly missing 2-3 games to start the season. But, hey, at least he didn't hit T.J. in the head, right? Anyway, I imagine they are going to do more than just shift Daniels back to QB. That is alright for a camp arm but we will need a credible back up if this injury lags in to the regular season. The last time I read anything about CAP SPACE I believe they said that they have less than 2 million so that doesn't leave much wiggle room.

I hate to be negative, but if RW goes down that early in the season (assuming T-Jack would be ok by week 2 or so), nobody we could get at this late date would be much help to us.

I know nobody wants Flynn but at the vet minimum he is a capable backup (not quite Tjack who I think is an above average backup). I also wouldn't mind Thigpen who has some experience as a starter (I think with KC a few years ago). Anyway whoever they get won't be on the roster after TJ gets back which is why there is no way in hell Vick would sign here or there is no way in hell we would sign Vick who, I agree, wants more than we would be offering anybody at this point.

I believe Waters was Lockett's QB.

If RW goes down at any point in the season, we're screwed. But I get your point. Those first two games, vs. St. Louis and Green Bay, both on the road, are arguably the two toughest consecutive games on our schedule, both of which could loom large when it comes to playoff seeding.

That's it River, that's why the OL problems are my major concern.
