He's still only 28, if he's got his ducks in a row now, I say we have him in for a cup of coffee.

He couldn't hurt - if he passes through waivers, but I wonder if coming back to Seattle would cause him too much temptation with the old sites and people.
Maybe he can have some part of a career that everyone expected of him.
I hope so, he looked like he might have a future when he first arrived.

I'd take a look at anyone who might be able to help us improve anywhere, particularly the offensive line. It's interesting to read that John had a drug problem ( maybe it's been well documented and I've been living under a rock)..... I thought he had a mental health disorder of some sort or was severely ADHD. The latter is why he had a script for Adderall. If he has truly cleaned up his act, I'd love to bring him in. It is surprising to me that the donkeys don't have rights to him, or they just waived him, given their more recent O-line issues. Also, I'm not sure where we are on the waiver order, but if we can get to him, I'm all for it.

I'm sure he was sick to his stomach when we went to the SB. A lil more discipline and a lot fewer drugs and he coulda had a ring too.

Comebacks aren't often successful, so I wouldn't hold my breath. But as ObS said, it doesn't hurt to give him a look-see

If we 'sign' him to a contract, I hope it's one where He pays US back.
