Aaron Rodgers, Big Ben Or...Jay Cutler? Ranking the NFL's Best Deep Passers

So they broke them out into categories, Elite, Young guns, vets. What I found interesting is if they had 1 list our guy Rw would be #3.

What is also interesting is the nfl avg of 33.6 andn the fact Luck, Dalton, Newton, Brady, are all below it. While Wilson is well above the league avg in all categories

An interesting, well reasoned article.

I can't believe someone went through every game and charted passes that went at least 20 yards in the air.
I would have either got caught up in watching the game and forgot to chart some of them or fallen asleep waiting for the next long pass.

Good article. I also think they hit the nail on the head with our O. We go short or deep, but passes the 20-25 yard range are a weakness. I also agree that Jimmy will help with that.

Agreed his size will make it easier as will Matthews and Norwood with their size and ability to post up for the ball.

Yes, because Russell overthrows most of those 20 yd incompletions... Jimmy will help. Wouldn't surprise me to see Kearse replaced by Chris Mathews, either.

Overall, it puts Russell right where he generally ranks, just out of the top 5 with potential to be higher.

Ahh you might want to recheck those stats in the stats that matters compt% he is #3, also #3YPA all the rest are a by product of attempts not actual ability

I wasn't commenting on the stats on the longer range of the article. RW's real accurate for 30 yards, no doubt about that ... it's the mid-range throws that he misses more often and he seems to be overthrowing them. Those are about 20 yards, where Graham will roam.
