Good to hear. I feel very comfortable with him as a backup. RW has been extremely durable but if he were to miss a game or two next year I feel confident TJ can win us a game if we needed him to.

Two Points of Thought -
#1) He probably signed for more then Russell gets this year....
#2) We are undefeated with him on the OT coin flip. Worth every penny!

One reporter from Oregon live was saying Vick would be a perfect Backup for RW. I could make an argument either way on that one.

Never been too keen on TJ as our backup. I do however think we can still win with him back there, but the drop off in talent is great.

Nice move - A great value insurance policy who can run the offense effectively if something happened to Russell.
