"Sherman doesn't deserve to be mentioned with the top corners in the NFL."
http://espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/story/_ ... rbacks-nflHehe. That'll work nicely, Antonio. Thank you.

Let him keep talking. It will only motivate Sherman and the rest of the team.

Interesting since he also said the below
"Cromartie says Sherman’s the best corner in the NFL"

He's being a toady. According to Clayton it started with Revis saying something to the effect of... Out of all the top corners in the league only one doesn't follow the best receiver. Then Cromartie decided to chime in.
1. Dude... you've spent your entire career playing second banana to either Revis or Peterson. So how about you take your rightful seat at the kiddie table.
2. Newflash Revis. You moved from your side of the field less than Sherm did last year. So if you happened to be on the #1 receiver more than Sherman it just means that coaches were more comfortable throwing on you.
3. Was just listening to an interview with Mike Haynes on NFL network who was asked if Sherman was a HOFer. He essentially said that unless his career ended tomorrow he's definitely going to the HOF.
Think I'll side with the HOFer over the guy who can't remember the names of his kids.

Stupidest about the "doesn't follow the #1 receiver" nonsense is that Sherm *has* followed the #1 receiver when necessary and shut them down.
These guys are just bitter they're forced to do that, apparently thinking they'd get more interceptions if they were guarding the receiver the QB never throws to.
But whatevs- guy's just trying to build up his teammate. Works in our favor in the end.

Cro aught to know this as well as anyone: it's not up to the player how he lines up, it's up to the coach! ... if your coach would rather eliminate half of the field from his game planning and concentrate on what to do with the other half, that's how you play it.
If (as is becoming more the case recently) your coach is more worried about what their #1 can do against the opposite side, you move over.
Either way, it ain't up to Sherm.

I think we should totally change our strategy. Being the best D in the league the last 3 years is nuthin compared to being praised by Antonio BlowHardy
