There is a possibility that PC may go back to LA if/when the Raiders move to LA. I heard it on KJR yesterday. He is an LA guy.

I didn't make it up HC, I got it from KJR not exactly a bona fide source.

Sorry, but relaying info that two guys on the radio made up, is still made up.
There will not be any team in LA for some time, even IF Carroll was inclined to leave. He may indeed return to LA at some point, but it will not be any time soon, even IF he wanted to coach a team there.

I'm sure someone will then point out if we play that hand right, that Oakland got 2 first round draft picks from 'trading' Gruden to the Bucs... just sayin.

If Obi heard it on the radio, then I'll take his word for it. No link required.
I'm sure these guys Obi heard on the radio aren't the only ones that are speculating on what Pete's up to. He sold his house in Seattle earlier this year, and did so before waiting the mandatory 48 months to avoid paying a capital gains tax, and as far as I know, has yet to buy another home, so they're probably trying to put two and two together. If anything, I'd guess that he'd be more likely to retire than embark on another rebuild. He'll turn 64 this September, and next to Tom Coughlin, is the oldest active head coach in the league.

A lot of guys & gals become Seattleified after experiencing the beauty of the PNW. Pete's not going anywhere.

Which team would he go to? The Raiders who just signed a coach?
Do you think they would give Del Rio the Mora Jr. treatment?
I guess it's possible.
Maybe he will be the Rams new coach when they move to LA.
Krohnke is similar to Allen in that he's loaded with dough and stays in the background.

I meant it more in the spirit of "I'll wait til I see this corroborated".

Thanks for clearing that up. Judging by some of the other comments, it sounded like Obi was being accused of making stuff up. I have no doubt that this is a subject that has attracted a lot of speculation, especially this time of year when there is next to nothing for the talking heads to talk about.

Good lord, no where did I accuse Obi of anything, Made up, means simply there is no truth that is verifiable to the statement, whether it is two radio jockeys making it up, and is then being passed along or not, it is made up. No different than other media doing the same last season. Just because a couple guys say it on KJR does NOT make it true, or a realistic possibility.
