2015 Regular Season Schedule Release Due Soon

I read somewhere that it's due out this Friday the 17th. It's a big deal for me, as I am hoping to go to at least two road games this year, and knowing the exact dates will help me plan. I do the flights on airline mileage, and it's best to reserve way ahead of time.

I also saw that based on last season's regular season records, we have the 4rd toughest schedule in the league and that our division as a whole has the toughest schedule of the 8 divisions. It's way too early to start handicapping a schedule, but it is a reflection on how strong our division has become since the days of the NFC Worst. It wasn't that long ago that CP Returns was taunting us about our weak opponents.

Hmm. I thought I saw that it was supposed to be out the 17th, but I could be wrong.

We're considering Baltimore, Cincy, and/or Santa Clara. It all depends on how the schedule falls. I don't want to go back east in November or December. If the league sticks to to their backloading of divisional games like they did last season, the odds that the Baltimore and/or Cincy games fall in September or October are pretty good.

Based on the rotation schedule that the NFL had in the last few years it's could look like this

HOME AWAY
Chicago Green Bay
Detroit Minnesota
Cleveland Baltimore
Pittsburgh Cincinnati
Carolina Dallas

And then you our normal NFC west opponents, looks like a great schedule to me.
