This is precisely the kind of thought process that does Kaepernick not a shred of good, which if fine with me.

He completely let this one random guy get in his head, much in the same way the Seahawks are.

Mentally, the guy - at least in this sense - is incredibly weak.

The best thing he (along with a lot of other athletes or public figures in general) could do is shut it down permanently.

He can't handle it, and the guy giving him flak to begin with ends up with the last laugh.

The guy hasn't matured a smidgen. He did the same thing when he got his briefs in a wad over criticism he took over the flap about the Dolphins paraphernalia a couple years back. It's one thing to react to things said about him in the mass media, but seeking out and picking on some lousy couch potato shows how thin skinned the man is.

I'm curious, I wonder if Kaepernick has hired a publicity agent or handler like many high profile athletes do, such as Tiger Woods and Alex Rodriguez. I saw once where Russell has an inner circle of close friends that help him craft his image.

Apparently the more people who follow you on twitter, the better you are at life?

It wouldn't have made him so mad if it weren't at least somewhat true. We don't get upset at accusations that are way off the mark, we get upset at accusations that are very close to the mark, but we are trying to convince ourselves differently about.

The other reason people react is if they think they have been cast unfairly.
That comes with having some shortcomings on the field and it looks like he's overly sensitive about it.

Maybe he has ink poisoning... :P
