I just started a new topic about who would replace Quinn!
I wish now I had waited a few more minutes.
Thanks for the link.

From what I've heard and read, the players seem to like Richard and have a lot of respect for him.
He should be around for a few years, too as he's still pretty young and it will take a few years to get a real resume as a DC.

This seems to be a good sign that he may very well be the next DC in Seattle. If not, then he really really likes coaching the LOB.

Quinn wasn't promoted from within. He was at U of Florida before coming here.

Boy, that'd be something, wouldn't it?
Can't see it happening, though, unless he wants to take a 50% cut in his market value to sign with us.

Richard will be fine if he's the guy.
There isn't really much to "fix" with this defense, just need to add a pass rusher who has the potential for double digit sacks, and find a better option than Simon at CB if Maxwell ends up leaving.

Really Riv? I could have sworn he was already on the staff, coaching one of the positions. I gotta check this out now. Not that I doubt you though.

Quinn joined the Seattle Seahawks on January 12, 2009, but also served as the defensive coordinator for the Florida Gators during the 2011 and 2012 seasons, before returning to the Seahawks on January 17, 2013, to replace Gus Bradley, who became the Jacksonville Jaguars head coach.
Right you are Riv, I had forgotten he had left the 'Hawks for a couple years. Way to make me look bad...

I would have given it to Norton, I think that's why he left but that's just me.

Richard was much more responsible for the LOB than Ken was, I think we got the better option of the two to promote to DC and so does Sherm: ;
